The Akwaaba Transportation company was incepted in June 2002 by Kofi Wadie, who had the idea to assist the Ghanaian diasporans in Germany having the desire to send domestic appliances home to Ghana. As time went on more items - like furniture and vehicles were added.
In 2015, the management was handed over to Mr. Bady Agyemang (nephew of Mr. Wadie), who had been under his uncle's employment over years.
